Mercedes-Benz Oman offers the chance to win an exclusive gold Mercedes-Benz S-Class for the weekend
OMAN WILL SEE GOLD THIS WEEK
Muscat – Mercedes-Benz Oman has announced the launch of its must-enter ‘Oman Sees Gold’ competition, the star of which is the “Middle East Car of the Year” – the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
‘This exciting concept has been created to celebrate the gold standard set by this award-winning model and share our pride in the true expression of modern luxury,’ explained Clive Hammond, CEO of Zawawi Trading Company-Automotive. ‘The S-Class is instantly recognisable thanks to its iconic design, and the gold-wrapped S-Class featuring in the competition will not only stand out in the crowd, it will undoubtedly stand above it. The S-Class is in fact built for customers who set extremely high standards and seek the experience behind luxury brands.”
To enter the competition, residents and visitors should look out for the stunning gold Mercedes-Benz S-Class between May 10th and May 23rd as it visits popular locations around Muscat. Once they have spotted the luxury gold vehicle, they should take a picture of themselves with the car and upload to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #OmanSeesGold, having first liked or followed one of the Mercedes-Benz Oman social media accounts: @mercedesbenzoman on Facebook and Instagram and @mercedesbenzOM on Twitter. There is no limit to the number of photos that can be uploaded and all images will be entered in a draw immediately after May 23rd. Three lucky winners, who will be randomly chosen, will have the car for a weekend and be able to experience for themselves the exhilaration of driving a technologically advanced, masterpiece of engineering
With a record-breaking sales growth of 40 per cent in the first quarter of 2015, the competition marks not just the vehicle’s recent award but also the extraordinary popularity of the S-Class, attesting to a market in search of status, luxury and power.
A study in elegant design, the S-Class is considered the embodiment of the automotive role of Mercedes-Benz and with its engineering priorities of ‘Intelligent Drive’, ‘Efficient Technology’ and ‘Essence of Luxury’ - it is the essence of luxury and truly a car that is the ‘best or nothing’ in every respect.
