Inconspicuously integrated into the roof frame, the electric AIRCAP draught stop system was specially developed for Mercedes-Benz cabriolets. When the soft top is down, AIRCAP reduces turbulence in the interior; even for passengers in the rear. When the AIRCAP switch is pressed, a wind louvre on the windscreen pops up and the draught-stop positioned behind the rear head restraints is extended upwards. No tedious installation or removal required.
AIRSCARF neck-level heating makes open-top motoring a sheer pleasure, even when the outside temperature plummets. The air outlets in the head restraints provide a level of comfort that you will no longer want to do without. Through the air outlets in the head restraints, pleasantly warm air is 'wrapped' around the necks of the driver and front passenger like an invisible scarf. The desired intensity can be set in three stages. To top it all off, the speed of the exiting air automatically adjusts to the road speed (up to 120 km/h).
In addition to the striking look, the LED High Performance headlamps provide more safety at night thanks to a broad light distribution, a light colour similar to daylight and low energy consumption. Also in daytime, the clearly defined contours and high-quality detailing ensure an unmistakable front view. Thanks to new LED projector-beam technology used in the low-beam headlamps with state-of-the-art shaped lenses and LED reflection technology used in the main-beam headlamps, the road surface is illuminated better than with conventional halogen headlamps.
When the AIRCAP switch is pressed, a wind louvre on the windscreen pops up and the draught-stop positioned behind the rear head restraints is extended upwards. The draught-stop protects the passengers from draughts, allowing open-top motoring even at high speeds or in cooler weather. It can be fitted extremely quickly above the rear seats and removed again at any time and stowed in the luggage compartment in a protective cover.
